Loved the recently launched song? Liked any movies background music? Want to set it as your ringtone? But dont know how to do that? Its quite easy for many but This is also one of the most frequently asked question of newbies in various groups. No worries, today I am going to tell you about how to set any sound clip as your ringtone.
NOTE: The device which I am here is a Moto G. The steps will work fine on other variants like Moto E and Moto X.
The steps are really simple and will take only a minute or two to complete..
So, Lets start with the steps:

- Download & install ES File Explorer. If you already have it, then move to step 2. I have already discussed about ES File Explorer in previous blog.
- Now reach the sound file which you want to make ringtone (e.g. in my case its present in /sdcard/bluetooth). Copy it from there by holding it and tap on copy.
- Now, go inside "Ringtones" folder and paste it there.
- Now, Go to Settings > Sound > Phone Ringtone > find and select the file you want to make ringtone.
Thats it! You have successfully set the ringtone you wanted.
Note: Similarly, you can also set alarmtones and notification tones by placing the sound files in alarms folder and notifications folder respectively.
